This birdhouse is constructed with Premium Western Red Cedar. Western Red Cedar has excellent insulating properties, is naturally durable, and is resistant to moisture, decay and insect damage. It has a pleasant and unmistakeable aroma.  Unfinished cedar has a richly textured grain with colors ranging from mellow ambers, reddish cinnamons and rich sienna browns, making each birdhouse unique and one of a kind.
